Sagar Gupta

Activism

Sagar leads the activism strategy at Anson Funds where he manages a long-term, concentrated portfolio of North American small/mid-cap opportunities. He previously worked in investment banking at UBS, private equity at KKR, long/short equities at Balyasny Asset Management, and activism at Legion Partners. Sagar currently serves on the board of Five9 Inc. (FIVN) and previously served on the board of Momentive Global Inc. (MNTV). He holds a BS from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated Beta Alpha Psi.
